In North Finchley, The Torrington Arms was a very well respected music venue with a solidly popular rotation of entertaining and sought after bands. We supported The Germans, a regular act at The Torrington with a very vocal following. We drew our own audience and rocked the place. The highlight: we got paid.
Sadly, The Torrington is no more. It's now a Starbucks. Yes folks - that's what passes for progress.
