Fusilier and Firkin - 16 May 1997
Camden's Fusilier & Firkin (which has now reverted to its more familiar name of "The Carnarvon Castle") was a free-entry pub where we played in 1997. The strangely shaped room layout meant that we were along one wall of a long narrow room facing... the bar. We played for over two hours and a great crowd cheered us on for encores and then, well, left. The highlight: Geoff's Victorian smoking hat.
