Live on the hill

Live on the hill, July 1985
Mere weeks after the first LIVE AID The Italian Club staged an open air musical event tagged on to the traditional street party held at that time of year which always followed the religious procession through the streets of Clerkenwell. It was advertised and known as "Live On The Hill" and featured several local bands including the now three-piece Eat The Lemon. It poured with rain during our set, but we kept on rocking.
The only surviving picture (shown below) of the event is of the rehearsal a week earlier - when members of all the bands got together to prepare the grand finale number when everyone played "Can't Buy Me Love".
